Have Been; Are Being
Dear CrossPointe,
On this communion Sunday, we’ll be in Hebrews 10:1–18, a critical passage that helps us understand the relationship and distinction between the law and the gospel and the difference between justification and sanctification. Clarity on these issues guards us from falling into theological ditches on both sides. In justification, we “have been.” But in sanctification, we “are being.” I look forward to working through this text and its truths with you and coming to the Lord’s Table on this first Sunday of December.
See you soon!
Brad
