Dear CrossPointe,

What a glorious Resurrection Sunday we had last week. The Lord is good! This Sunday I will preach about the importance of what we are doing when we gather together for worship each week. In short, I want to help us have a good theology of worship as a church family.

Now, when we use the word 'worship,' we should be careful to say that all of life is worship. The Apostle Paul says that whatever we do—whether we eat or drink—we should do it all to the glory of God (1 Cor 10:31). But, in a more narrow sense, I want us to think deeply about the importance and centrality of gathered worship in the life of a believer and local church.

We'll start off in Psalm 100, but from there we'll be all over the Bible. Take some time to read Psalm 100 before Sunday and ask the Lord to grow us as his people. We'll also receive the Lord's Supper together this Sunday.

Looking forward to it!

Brad
