This Sunday: David Baum Preaching

Dear CrossPointe,

I am really excited about this Sunday! Back in July I mentioned that David Baum, a retired chaplain and member of CrossPointe, will be planting a church in the Columbus area hopefully sometime in 2014. David's call to plant a gospel-centered church in our area is an answer to prayer, and one we hope God answers numerous times through the years.

This Sunday, David will be preaching at CrossPointe from Matthew 28 about the great privilege and mission God has given us to proclaim the gospel and make disciples through church-planting. I can hardly wait for you to hear from David and his passion for the Lord and the church. To prepare your heart for this Sunday, pray for David and his wife, Marie, and their daughters. Pray for wisdom and courage as they prepare in the coming months for the task God has given them.
