Back in Genesis 28!

Dear CrossPointe,

This Sunday we’ll jump back into Genesis after a few months away. Specifically, we’ll be in Genesis 28, which tells us about Jacob’s dream and encounter with God—an incredible scene that has much truth for us to consider!

Since it has been awhile since we’ve been in Genesis, I’d encourage you to watch these two short 5-minute videos that do a great job of summarizing the storyline of Genesis. The first video covers Genesis 1–11 and the second one covers Genesis 12–50. Again, they’re short and worth a few minutes and will help reorient you to Genesis.

Ladies’ Lunch (Feb. 17, noon) || Meet in Classroom A on the first Tuesday of the month as we study spiritual disciplines together over lunch ($5 Chick-fil-A). Childcare starts at 10 a.m. RSVP by e-mailing Nicole Carey!

Midweek Fellowship (Weds., 5:45–7:30 p.m., Feb. 18–Mar. 25) || Enjoy dinner together ($5/person, $20/family max) followed by teaching at 6:30 p.m. on John’s Epistles. Childcare will be available.

“One Another” Member Meeting (6–7:30 p.m., Mar. 1) || CrossPointe’s members gather bimonthly to discuss matters pertaining to life in the church. Non-members are welcome to attend, and childcare is provided.
