Announcements, Sept. 23, 2016

Dear CrossPointe,

“Imperfect as it is, it is the dearest place on earth to us.” This is how Charles Spurgeon described the church in a sermon preached in 1861. Our text this week, 1 Timothy 3:14–16, gives us a glimpse of why the church should be so dear to Christians. Paul describes it as the household of God, where the living God dwells, upon which the truth of the gospel rests. My hope as we work through this text is that we will fall more in love with this dearest place on earth called the church.

See you Sunday!

Brad
