Announcements, Sept. 2, 2016

Dear CrossPointe,

This Sunday we tackle a controversial text, 1 Timothy 2:8–15, which deals with the role and comportment of men and women in the life of the local church. To say this text is disputed is an understatement! Much ink has been spilled over this paragraph. But just because something is controversial does not mean we should avoid it.

In fact, the truths in this text cut to the very heart of God’s design for humanity and how men and women are to compliment each other for the glory of God. Read the text a few times before Sunday. You don’t want to come off the bench cold on this one. Looking forward to seeing you Sunday!

Grace and peace,

Brad
