Dear CrossPointe,

This Sunday we have the joy and privilege of having as our guest Pastor Kaushal Kale of Kolhapur Bible Church in Kolhapur, India. I met Kaushal last year when Robert and I traveled to India to speak at a conference hosted by his church. This was all facilitated by Gareth Franks, who you’ll remember is the missionary church-planter for whom Logan Copley served as an interim pastor several years ago.

Pastor Kaushal will preach Sunday morning on 1 John 2:1–2, and then on Sunday evening at 6 p.m. he will speak to us about the work in India, and we’ll have time for Q&A with dessert afterwards. I’m really looking forward to having this dear brother share God’s Word with you all!

MWF: James (Wed., 5:45–7:30 p.m., March 1–April 12) || Join us for dinner and fellowship as we study James! Dinner starts at 5:45 p.m., followed by teaching at 6:30 p.m. Infants and toddlers have childcare, and kids three and up are learning about Exodus! Click here to sign up.

CM Appreciation Lunch (April 2, noon) || We want to thank all our CM volunteers for your service to our children and families. Childcare will be available. Just let us know you’ll be there by contacting Molly Copley.

Men’s Study: John Newton on the Christian Life (Tues., 7–8 a.m., starting April 4) || This book brings together Newton’s vision for the Christian life as found in his numerous letters to friends and church-members. Robert Ward will lead the study through one chapter a week (14 chapters). If you’d like to come, e-mail Robert and purchase a book ($15) from the Resource Room.

Good Friday Service (April 14, 6:30 p.m.) || Join us in remembering the crucifixion through song, Scripture, and prayer. There won’t be any childcare, but kids are welcome to worship with their families.

VBS (June 26–30) || Mark your calendars for Vacation Bible School! If you’re a member and interested in serving, please contact Molly Copley.

Sunday Morning Classes (Sun., 9–10 a.m., Feb. 5–April 9) || There are three classes—Evangelism taught by Kwame Agyemang, Pursuing Joy taught by Joseph Davis and Robert Ward, and Survey of the Old Testament taught by Reuben Moyana. Childcare is also available. Contact Molly Copley to sign up!
