Announcements, Dec. 9, 2016

Dear CrossPointe,

This Sunday we continue our Advent series, “Seeing Christ in Isaiah,” with a look at one of the mountain peaks of the Old Testament, Isaiah 53. In this chapter about a suffering servant, the prophet Isaiah points his people to one who is coming to finally bear their sin and take it away. There is much for us to feast on in this chapter, so take some time to read it before Sunday and ask God to help us see Christ (and ourselves) rightly in light of this passage.

We also have the privilege of having Pastor Sidor from Haiti with us this Sunday. He will give a brief update on the work there and how the Lord has helped them since the devastating hurricane in October.

Looking forward to seeing you!

Brad
